Research shows sleep affect risk of heart or cardiovascular disease. Someone who slept less than five hours more at risk of contracting the disease. How long do you sleep in 24 hours?

Researchers at the University of West Virginia Department of Health, United States, research on 30 397 adults through the “National Health Interview Survey 2005″. Activity was intended, to collect information on demographic factors, socioeconomic characteristics, lifestyle, and health.

Mentioned, people who slept five hours per day or less has the risk of heart disease two-fold compared with people who sleep for seven hours. “Our research shows that sleep deprivation can affect heart health. Impaired sleep may be a risk factor for cardiovascular disease, even though he’s healthy,” said Anoop Shankar, MD, PhD, professor at the university’s Department of Health.
